Description

BPC-157 10mg research peptide — Canada

BPC-157 is a fifteen-residue synthetic peptide (GEPPPGKPADDAGLV) taken from a larger protein that a Zagreb group isolated from gastric juice and named “body protection compound” in 1993; the same year they tested the fragment against bromocriptine, amantadine and somatostatin in rat liver-injury models[1, 2]. Its literature is almost entirely rodent and cell-culture work, and a 2026 review counts no approved formulation and no completed Phase II trial[6]. This listing is one sealed vial of lyophilized powder at a 10mg labelled amount, for laboratory research only.

Batch documentation

A batch-specific COA for this strength has not been posted yet — see the COA library (/coa/). The 5mg vial carries a posted Janoshik report; that document covers the 5 mg batch only and is not evidence for this 10mg listing. When a report for a 10mg lot is issued it will be embedded here and filed in the library.

What researchers have looked at

  • Rat liver injury (1993): given intragastrically or intraperitoneally, the peptide prevented necrosis or fatty change after bile-duct plus hepatic-artery ligation, restraint stress and carbon tetrachloride, where the three reference drugs had little or no effect[2].
  • Blood vessels (2017): more vessel formation in the chick chorioallantoic membrane and in endothelial tube assays, faster blood-flow recovery in rat hind-limb ischaemia, and VEGFR2 activation in cultured endothelial cells[3].
  • Rat Achilles repair (2026, 32 rats): BPC-157 alone gave numerically higher load to failure and lower histology scores than controls without reaching statistical significance for total scores, whereas TB-500 did; the combination lowered the Movin score[4].
  • Limits: a 2025 systematic review found the evidence preclinical, notes the compound is not FDA-approved and is banned in professional sport[5]; the 2026 biopharmaceutical review records no validated dosing regimen and no completed Phase II trial[6].

Those are animal and in-vitro findings about the compound, reported as literature. They are not properties of this vial and no benefit is claimed for it.

Storage and handling

  • Sealed vial at −20 °C for long-term storage (the site states up to 24 months as dry powder); cool, dry and dark if held briefly; no repeated freeze–thaw.
  • Solutions are less stable than powder; prepare only what an experiment needs. Reconstitution and handling protocols belong to the researcher and are not described on this site.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy BPC-157 10mg in Canada?

Yes. Shop Peptides Online stocks the 10mg vial as research-grade lyophilized BPC-157 and ships it from inside Canada by Canada Post, so there is no customs step. It is sold for laboratory research only; BPC-157 has no approved formulation anywhere (PMID 42198317).

Is there a COA for BPC-157 10mg?

Not yet for this strength. A batch-specific report for a 10 mg lot has not been posted; the report in the COA library covers the 5 mg batch only and does not apply to this listing. When a 10 mg report is issued it will be embedded on this page.

How should BPC-157 be stored?

Frozen at −20 °C in the sealed vial for long-term storage (the site states stability up to 24 months as lyophilized powder); cool, dry and dark for short periods; avoid freeze–thaw cycling. Reconstituted solutions are less stable than the powder.

Is BPC-157 for human use?

No. This vial is research-grade material for laboratory use only, not for human or animal consumption. BPC-157 is not approved by Health Canada, the FDA or the EMA, a 2025 systematic review found the evidence to be preclinical with the compound banned in professional sport (PMID 40756949), and Shop Peptides Online provides no dosing or administration guidance.
