Description

GHK-Cu 100mg research peptide — Canada

GHK-Cu pairs a three-residue peptide, glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, with a single copper(II) ion. The peptide was pulled out of human serum in the 1970s and named in 1977[1]; its habit of co-purifying with copper led Pickart’s group to describe it as a copper-transport factor[2]. Decades of cell-culture and rodent work followed[3, 4]; no medicine has been approved from it[6]. This listing is one sealed vial of lyophilized GHK-Cu at a 100mg labelled amount, supplied for laboratory research only.

Janoshik test report #218248 for GHK-Cu 100 mg (this listing): measured content 76.04 mg GHK-Cu (63.73 mg GHK peptide + 12.31 mg copper), purity 99.661%, analysis date 19 August 2026
Independent test report #218248 (Janoshik, 19 August 2026) for the GHK-Cu 100 mg (this listing) batch: content 76.04 mg GHK-Cu (63.73 mg GHK peptide + 12.31 mg copper), purity 99.661%.

How to read this one: Janoshik reported the peptide and the copper as separate masses — 63.73 mg of GHK and 12.31 mg of copper, 76.04 mg of complex in total — against a 100 mg label, with the peptide 99.661% pure by HPLC. The two masses work out to roughly equal molar amounts (0.187 mmol peptide, 0.194 mmol copper), which is what a 1:1 complex should give. The report’s batch field reads “unknown”; the string on the COA library card, N2JKLM26983T, is the laboratory’s verification key, usable at janoshik.com.

What researchers have looked at

  • Cultured hepatoma cells (1980): GHK binds Cu(II) and increases copper uptake into the cells; several tripeptides sharing a His-Lys linkage were nearly as active[2].
  • Fibroblast cultures (1988): collagen synthesis rose from about 10−12 M, peaking at 10−9 M, with no change in cell number[3].
  • Rat wound-chamber model (1993): injected GHK-Cu increased dry weight, DNA, total protein, collagen and glycosaminoglycans in a concentration-dependent way; a control tripeptide did not[4].
  • Human venous-ulcer trial (1992, 86 patients): a 0.4% tripeptide-copper cream performed no better than placebo[5]; a 2026 evidence map concludes that clinical proof is still lacking and that the material is often studied without its copper state being defined[6].

All of this is preclinical or negative human evidence. It describes the compound in laboratory models, not this vial, and no property or benefit is claimed for the product.

Storage and handling

  • Sealed vial at −20 °C for long-term storage (the site states up to 24 months as dry powder); cool, dry, dark if held briefly; no repeated freeze–thaw.
  • Solutions are less stable than powder, and the copper coordination shifts with pH, so buffer choice matters. Protocols are the researcher’s responsibility and are not published here.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy GHK-Cu 100mg in Canada?

Yes. The 100mg vial is stocked as research-grade lyophilized GHK-Cu and shipped domestically by Canada Post, so no customs clearance is involved. It is sold for laboratory research only; GHK-Cu has no approved drug form anywhere.

How is this GHK-Cu 100mg batch verified?

By an independent laboratory. Janoshik report #218248 (sample received 17 August 2026, analysed 19 August 2026) measured 63.73 mg of GHK peptide plus 12.31 mg of copper — 76.04 mg of complex — against the 100 mg label, purity 99.661%; verification key N2JKLM26983T. The batch field on the report is blank, so match the vial to this document by report number.

How should GHK-Cu be stored?

Frozen at −20 °C in the sealed vial for long-term storage (the site states stability up to 24 months as lyophilized powder); cool, dry and dark for short periods; avoid freeze–thaw cycling. Solutions are less stable than the powder, and the copper’s coordination depends on pH (PMID 6291585).

Is GHK-Cu for human use?

No. This vial is research-grade material for laboratory use only, not for human or animal consumption. The only sizeable human trial, in venous ulcers, found a GHK-Cu cream no better than placebo (PMID 1495150), and 2026 reviews report no adequately powered clinical trial.
